About Our Branded Range

Donna originally started Nautica Organics with the Health Shop range. She worked at Wheelers Pharmacy in Hout Bay, Healthy Living in Cape Town Waterfront, and then at Healthy Living in La Lucia Mall for seven years before starting Nautica Organics. Her journey began when she discovered an organic rosehip oil producer, sparking her passion for natural and organic oils.

Organic rosehip oil and the Organic Rosehip Radiance Serum were the first two products in the range. Over the last 19 years, the range has expanded, with rosehip and organic castor oil remaining the star products. Essential oils such as organic origanum oil, frankincense, turmeric, lemongrass, and patchouli have also been introduced. More recently, hydrosols have been added to the range—aromatic and versatile flower waters brimming with health and beauty benefits.

Hydrosols are mild and can even be used on babies and pets, unlike essential oils, which can be too concentrated for sensitive skin.
